The organisers of 3rd Annual conference of Neurocritical Care Society India and AIIMS Neuroanaesthesia and Neurocritical Care Update 2022, invite you to submit abstracts under the various categories – original studies, systematic reviews and case reports. Abstracts for original studies and systematic reviews should be structured and not more than 500 words (excluding Title, Authors and Affiliation details). All accepted abstracts will be published in the Journal of Neuroanaesthesiology and Critical Care
Abstracts should be structured under the following heads –

Authors: [All authors must be listed; Presenting authors should be listed first; Eg. Sharma SK, Rao PVS, Singh RK, Khan S, Mathews P]
Affiliation: [Department and Institute should be mentioned]
Background: (Clearly state the purpose of the research and its aim)
Methods: (Give brief details of methodology and analyses performed)
Results: (Results should be provided completely. Do not mention ‘results will be discussed)
Conclusion: (Clearly mention the conclusion drawn from the study)
(Abstract for Case reports should include only Case history and Discussion)

Abstract Submission Guidelines

    • All posters will be presented as e-posters. Download template. Save the abstracts in pdf format. Name the pdf file with authors full name and title.
    • Tables, figures and graphs are not allowed as part of the abstract submission; however, they can be presented on the poster.
    • Top 3 abstracts will be selected as Platform presentations, both for original studies/systematic review and Case reports. Presentations and awards (1 in each category) would be separate for residents/fellows/trainees and consultants/private
      practitioners. Certificates will be issued to all presenters whose abstract will be selected for Platform presentation.
    • Registration for the conference is mandatory for presenters and to be eligible for the award.
    • Last date of submission: 15th August 2022
    • Notification: Presenting authors will receive email regarding acceptance of their abstract by September 15th 2022

Digital Poster(ePoster) Guidelines

    • You MUST create your poster in Power Point (ppt) using the 16:9 ratio resolution setting.
    • Save the final slide as a ppt or pdf file that should include the Title (of presentation), Author/ co-author (s) name (s), and name of the Department and Institution.
    • Use a Sans Serif Font (Arial, Calibri, Tahoma, Verdana) with a point size no smaller than 5. Avoid long sections of text. Be sure that all graphs, charts and images are readable.
